As time goes by Huawei gets more and more clients respecting their solutions for 5G connectivity, as the direct successor of the L4G LTE technology but with a lot more bandwidth, general speed and stability. Carriers around the world are acquiring the stations and platforms to offer this 5G experience to their clients.
The next step is to start offering compatible smartphones with this technology, and since the Chinese company is the first providing and promoting this technology, it is logical that they are the ones to release of the first devices compatible. Huawei will be releasing their first 5G smartphone in the world with the new Huawei Mate 20 X.
Details about the Huawei Mate 20 X
According to He Gang; Chief Executive of the mobile division of Huawei, the Mate 20 X will be released to the public in August, as the first 5G phone of the company that can be used under this technology from the beginning, thanks to carriers that take advantage of Huawei´s 5G platforms across the world and mostly in Europe, in countries like Germany, Spain and others.
This is the strategy followed by Huawei to counter attack Samsung and the release of the Samsung Galaxy S10, as a smartphone compatible with 5G networks but as a device that at the moment is not taking much advantage of the platform, at least in the United States and other countries where 5G has not been developed at Huawei´s path in Europe.
In terms of specs, the Huawei Mate 20 X will have top-of-the-line features and a compatible 5G modem for fast connectivity thanks to a special version of the Qualcomm 855 processor, which will come with 8 or 10 GB of LPDDR4 memory and at least 256 GB of storage, along with a great OLED display and a tiny drop-shape notch.
